25 Year Service Award

It has been brought to my attention that I overlooked a member of the Mitchell Team that should have received his 25 year service award at our Annual Holiday Party on December 18.  Tom Biddison, III – CONGRATULATIONS …….and thank you for your 25 years of service to E. Stewart Mitchell, Inc.  (I truly do apologize for my oversight TB3).

Deepest Sympathy

ESM has lost a dedicated member of its team, with the sudden passing of Jay Taylor on January 17th.  Jay lost his wife, Melba, on January 10th, a week prior.  Let us remember Jay’s family during this very difficult time.  Keep them in your thoughts, and pray that God’s peace and healing will be upon their hearts.  Jay (and Melba) will be truly missed by all.

MMTA Driver of the Month

Every year MMTA holds its Driver of the Year Banquet to honor some of the trucking industries top drivers.  We are thrilled to Congratulate Cliff Henry for being chosen Maryland Motor Truck Association’s Driver of the Month for November, 2009.   Congratulations Cliff on this honor, and for the professionalism you show every day in your work for ESM and the trucking industry.

NAPA Asphalt Hall of Fame

ESM is proud to congratulate Barton Mitchell on his induction into the National Asphalt Pavement Associations Asphalt Hall of Fame.  Barton was presented with this honor at the NAPA Annual Conference in Hawaii on 1/16/10. CONGRATULATIONS Barton.  WHAT A WONDRFUL HONOR!
